Dr. Vivian Collett is a 1989 graduate from the Ontario Veterinary College. She grew up in Burnaby and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from UBC. After graduating from veterinary college she practiced in Burnaby and Port Coquitlam. In 1991 she moved to Michigan where she worked for the Michigan Humane Society as a staff veterinarian and clinic supervisor. In 1996 she returned to the Lower Mainland and has spent the last five years working at the Burnaby Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Collett is married with two children and is the proud owner of six pets, most notably her running partner, Jake, 5 1/2 year old Bouvier.
Dr. Anne Irwin is a 1992 graduate from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. She grew up in Burnaby and attended Simon Fraser University for her undergraduate studies. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Irwin completed a one year small animal internship at the University of Minnesota. Since her return to the lower mainland in 1993, Dr. Irwin has worked in several small animal practices but in the past seven years was based at the Marine Drive Veterinary Hospital in North Vancouver. Dr. Irwin is married and is the proud mother to her two year old son and a two and a half year old black lab named Kobe. She and Dr. Collett are excited to be taking over the North Burnaby Pet Hospital and are looking forward to meeting you and your pets.
